Reliable Dumpster Rental for Renovation Projects in Toronto
If you’re looking for a dumpster rental in Toronto for your construction site or renovation project, Ontario Trucking & Disposal can help you with prompt and reliable services. We can take away most of the waste materials safely and efficiently. When it comes to waste, we often sort out what is put in the dumpster and determine if it can be recycled. However, certain materials have restrictions on them which means that they have to be separated or cannot be placed in the bins at all. Continue reading to find out what kinds of materials are allowed in our dumpster rentals and what kinds of materials have to be taken elsewhere.

What Can Be Put in a Dumpster Rental in Toronto
We allow the following items to be put in our dumpster bins:
-
Concrete
-
Wood
-
Fill
-
Asphalt
-
Brick rubble
-
Snow
-
Drywall
-
Plaster
-
Insulation
Most of these items can be disposed of by simply putting them in the dumpster. However, if you think your bin will consist primarily of concrete, wood, fill, asphalt or brick rubble, it is to your advantage to segregate your trash in the beginning by putting only those materials in the dumpster. We offer special flat-rate pricing for bins with these materials. And while you can combine these items with other acceptable garbage, we will have to sort the materials in the bin eventually, which takes us time and will incur a higher bill versus a sorted bin. Feel free to give us a call to discuss your dumpster rental needs in Toronto.
Our Process
When you rent a dumpster from us, you can be sure that your waste is disposed of safely and ethically. We are committed to providing reliable, affordable, and proficient bin rentals that are eco-friendly. We follow a step-by-step procedure as mentioned below:

-
Step 1: You choose a bin based on your specific requirements. The rental request can be placed through a call or online.
-
Step 2: We bring the selected bin to your location and place it as per your instructions.
-
Step 3: You fill the bin with the waste that is permitted to be placed in our dumpsters.
-
Step 4: Once done, we come and collect the bin from you.
After the Dumpster is Picked Up
Once your waste bin is full, or your project is complete, we’ll come to pick it up and take it back to our facility as part of the final step in the bin rental procedure. From there, the dumpster is weighed, and a charge is assessed based on that weight per tonne. As mentioned, certain construction site materials that are not mixed together are charged at a different rate than mixed garbage items. Once that’s complete, the materials in the waste bin will be sorted and anything that can be recycled will be taken out in order to help the environment.
We are dedicated to taking conscious steps to make sure all your waste is disposed of and handled in an environmentally sustainable way. Our team has years of experience providing top-quality services to keep your construction or renovation site clean.
Items That Cannot Go in Our Bins
There are a number of things that cannot be placed in our dumpsters because they pose a threat to the environment if disposed of with normal garbage. These include mainly hazardous and prohibited items such as:
-
Combustible or flammable liquids
-
Propane tanks
-
Paint
-
Paint thinner
-
Solvents
-
Lighting ballasts
-
Fluorescent light bulbs
-
Organic material
-
Items explicitly listed as hazardous
-
Food waste
Ontario Trucking & Disposal is not licensed to handle organic or hazardous waste and, therefore, cannot accept any. If prohibited items are found in a dumpster, they will be removed, and a fine will be issued to the renter. Read our blog for some more information on what can and cannot be placed in our dumpster.
