JCL Group Gives Back to the Community
Every year, the Sciacca family donates a number of Toronto Raptors box seats to Smiles of Innocence Memorial Charity in support of the SickKids® Foundation.
Smiles of Innocence was founded by the parents of Daniel Povegliano (1992-1996), a child who succumbed to the effects of Systemic Mastocytosis. Systemic Mastocytosis is a fatal disease that attacks the skin and other organs. In Daniel’s memory, Smiles of Innocence Memorial Charity works to help better the lives of children in hospitals.
A certificate recognizing the contribution to SickKids® Foundation by the Sciacca family, who donated game seats directly to the foundation.
Donations made to Brothers to the End (BTTE) for a bike run with all donations going to the Down Syndrome Association of Ontario (DSAO).
Appreciation for the donation of materials to build a new parking lot for the Community Association for Riding for the Disabled (CARD), an association dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with disabilities through quality, therapeutic horseback riding programs.
